{hard earned, well spent money}

India did it!  She has been working hard and saving her money for MONTHS.  She babysat, cleaned, cleaned some more, pulled weeds, and babysat again . . . all in her quest to buy a KINDLE.
Rather impressive for a 12-year old girl.

Weekend plans => head to San Antonio.  Going to get our boys.

As we were loading up on Friday, India came in with a huge grin on her face.  She had earned a little more money and after counting it all up,  discovered that she had more than enough to make the purchase - after paying tithing.  I'm so proud of her!

 Regardless of the months of WANTING, I still questioned her several times . . . "Are you SURE you want to spend your money?"

She was jumping up and down with excitement.  I didn't need to ask.
Miss Independent said, "I want to feel the accomplishment of buying it myself.  with my money. and no parent's help!"

It was totally worth the drive to Target before hitting I-10 to San Antonio.

Those Target employees were sweethearts.  They thought India was as darling as I did and they were so patient {huge smiles on their faces} as she counted out that hard earned money.

She didn't want me to take pictures.  But it was so precious.

At this point, she looked up and announced that she would be saving more money to buy a case for "Brilliant."

?????

 Darling girl named her Kindle . . ."Brilliant"

{and the winner is . . .}
